Social Media Cafe Liverpool #1 Round-Up

Just a quick blog post to say thank you so much to everyone who came to the first Social Media Cafe Liverpool last night, both attendees and presenters made it an absolutely awesome evening. The turn out was brilliant, and more importantly I think everyone can agree there was a pretty great atmosphere. Also, thank you very much to the lovely Static for being the venue for the evening.

If you jump on the #smcliv tag on twitter you can see some of the tweets about the evening, as well as some rather classy photographs.

Alison Gow, who was the first of out three superfluously great presenters, has written a really comprehensive round-up of the evening on the Echo Tech blog, as has Mike Nolan on the Edge Hill Web Services blog. Are there anymore? Let us know!

Some of the presentations from the evening are also available online. Alison’s presentation on Data Visualisation is on Slide Share and Dave Coveney presentation on Social Media & Work is available as a very swish Prezi slide show. Josh – the man with no surname – has also written a really great blog on the subject of his talk, How to win Foursquare friends and influence people.

If you find more links to Social Media Cafe Liverpool related stuff, or want to tell us about what you thought of the evening, please leave a comment on this blog post.
