Second speaker announced for SMCLiv #1

Following hot on the heels of Alison Gow, we’re very happy to announce the second speaker for the first Social Media Cafe Liverpool (at Static, on Wed 30 June.)

Josh – @technicalfault – is a digital producer in the public sector and on the council of Manchester Digital, the trade association for the digital sector in the north-west of England. He also helps organise Manchester’s Social Media Cafe.

Josh will be talking about how you can use Foursquare to ‘win friends and influence people‘.

Foursquare, a location service-based social network-come-game, is quickly becoming the social tool du jour. It, and it’s competitor Gowalla, have recently featured in an article on geolocative gaming in Wired.

We’ve one last, but certainly not least!, speaker to announce, so keep an eye on this blog or the #smcliv tag on twitter. Also, don’t forget to register on Amiando for Social Media Cafe Liverpool. One day left, people!
